APR Calculator
APR Calculator is a macOS application that lets you calculate the annual percentage rate of charge for credit transactions using the methods used in the European Union and the United States.
APR Calculator started as a test project to see if we could create a functional SwiftUI application that calculates the European APR.
As we were not able to use the example Excel spreadsheet provided by the EU on our Mac, we decided to create APR Calculator to calculate the EU examples.
Once it worked for the EU method, we tested it with the US examples in Appendix J of the US Thruth in Lending Act and noticed that they calculated things quite differently, so we added the US method.

ParanzaSoft used to develop financial applications for Mac and released them as shareware.
FinKit was a program that ran on the very first version of OS X, having started on OS 9, and took years to develop. The same applies to FinFlow, AmLoan and FinLease that handled problems that FinKit couldn’t solve.
We plan to develop and release a new SwiftUI application that calculates interest in many different ways, using FinFlow as a starting point. Stay tuned!
